This is the second installment of the cold weather outfit series. All of the pieces mentioned in this post (except for shoes & hosiery) are part of the cold weather wardrobe post.
Wear to Work:
Wear untucked over a pair of black trousers and a grey cardigan. Accessorize with a grey printed scarf worn loosely around the neck. The shell will create textural interest in the outfit and the floral design in the lace will play off the print of the scarf.
Tuck into a silver tweed skirt and pair with a gunmetal cuff. Although the patterns of the shirt and skirt are different, the color palette is the same and will create the illusion of a chic cocktail dress. Pair with a deep plum suede pump.
Tuck into a black pencil skirt and wear a silver metallic belt half an inch below the the top of the skirt. Add a ruffled black cardigan and metallic flats for a look that is both chic and comfortable enough to entertain in, from first guest to last dish.
Wear untucked over a pair of trouser jeans and pair with a white/grey striped cardigan. Leave the cardigan mostly buttoned so the shell only peeks out at the top and the bottom. Accessorize the outfit by scrunching up the sleeves to display a gunmetal cuff. Pair with metallic flats and you're ready for the day!
